Ha!
So, before little Guthrie came, I had a foolish idea in my head that even though I wasn't going to be spending time in the studio for a while, there would be sketches or at least something to share on my blog that was pottery related. This was Guthrie's response to that thought: Ha! We've been enjoying short visits from friends and extended visits from family over the past couple of weeks and can't believe that Guthrie is almost 2 weeks old already! He's really incredible and is so much fun to be around. So, so what if there's nothing remotely "productive" happening around here as far as clay goes, we're hanging out with our little guy!

I was lucky to have a baby that wanted a 2 hour nap in the morning and a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. That was the only time I got anything done for myself. Of course all I wanted to do then was nap as well! May you be as lucky to have a baby that likes naps! It's so fun to see new baby pictures, thanks for sharing.
Amy, That is one fine young lad. Already 2 weeks, wow! He looks very happy and healthy. I took off a month from the pottery and enjoyed our litle ones when they were born. Have a great time!
Hey Amy!
I love that shot and I'm sure my kids had the same grin on the days I thought I could get back to work. Especially the twins! Just figure out that little guys eating and sleeping times and keep with it. You'll soon be making little drawings of Guthrie in no time. See you real soon! Jen
He's amazing.
I'm raising two babysitters whose services I can offer when he gets a wee bit older. ;^)
Too funny!! I just missed your visit at Ron's! Arrived soon after. I want to meet Guthrie!! Cutie.
Awwww- he is just beautiful (like his momma)!!!!

Today's my first official day at home with Guthrie without family help- we seem to be figuring each other out just fine. I'm definitely so thankful to have a job that's super flexible so I can indeed take a bunch of time off with my sweet pea.
I really enjoy y'alls encouragement and comments- thanks for indulging me!
